A Message from the Founders
When we founded Raven Ink, we did so to address a critical failure in the tattoo industry: the clinical gap between the procedure and the recovery. For too long, aftercare has been treated as a lifestyle accessory or a cosmetic afterthought. As founders, we believed that a process involving controlled dermal trauma deserved nothing less than hospital-grade precision.
We built Raven Ink to be a clinical-first organization. Our mission is to move tattoo recovery away from "skin-friendly" marketing and toward legitimate pharmaceutical science. We believe that protecting the integrity of the skin barrier is the only way to truly protect the integrity of the art.
Vertical Integration & Clinical Control
To ensure our standards were never compromised by third-party manufacturers, we made a strategic decision to own our entire supply chain. Every Raven Ink formulation is developed, tested, and produced within our own 28,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art laboratory in St. Louis, Missouri.
By maintaining a fully integrated production facility, we can guarantee:
Pharmaceutical-Grade Standards: Our facility is engineered for rigorous contamination control and precision.
Small-Batch Integrity: We utilize custom-engineered equipment to produce in small, controlled batches under strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Formulation Purity: We select ingredients based strictly on their functional role in wound healing and hydration—never for fragrance, trend, or "shelf appeal."
Our Commitment
While our methods are rooted in high-tech pharmaceutical manufacturing, our hearts are in the culture. We understand that a tattoo is a permanent biological investment. Our products, designed to Heal, Clean, and Maintain, are our contribution to the longevity of that investment.
At Raven Ink, we don’t just manufacture aftercare products; we engineer the environment in which art lives. We invite you to experience the difference that pharmaceutical rigor makes in the life of a tattoo.
